A9 Architecture Ltd will keep all information relating to the client confidential excluding where this information is already present or must enter the public domain in pursuit of performing the agreed services.
A9 Architecture Ltd retains copyright in respect of all intellectual property and documentation relation to the work undertaken by A9 Architecture Ltd.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Notice of Instruction to carry out works will be automatically taken as acceptance of the Terms & Conditions, please read the terms and conditions in full before instructing.
A9 Architecture follow’s the Architects Registration Boards ‘Code of Conduct’, which assures that all works and procedures are undertaken professionally and competently. Each team member has experience and/or qualification appropriate to the work being undertaken and our Principal Architect, Akos Doboczy, is here to ensure that you get the very best in design and performance.
Our pricing will accurately reflect time spent by each team member and aims to be effective in terms of value for the tasks you require. We select each team member with this in mind. Our Principal Architect will always oversee your project but if you require his expertise for the entire duration of your project then please request this (our estimated fees may increase to reflect this).
Our clients will be invoiced according to the type of service they have engaged.
Clients engaging A9 Architecture Ltd for a part-service, will normally be invoiced at two separate stages. Firstly, at Design & Planning stage – when a Planning Application is submitted. Secondly, at Building Regulations stage – When construction drawings have been prepared.
Clients engaging A9 Architecture Ltd for a full-service, will normally be invoiced at the time of engagement and periodically thereafter. Our initial invoice will be a request for a deposit and periodic invoices will be raised a minimum of one month apart. A final invoice will request the remaining balance after the deposit and periodic payments have been deducted.

Whereby clients have asked us to carry out/prepare work in respect of these circumstances, invoices will be dependent on time undertaken at the rate of the team member carrying out the work which may require a higher level of expertise and increased cost.

Our services are charged at an hourly rate. The hourly rate will reflect the level of qualification, experience and expertise of the team member responsible for the project. Our senior staff are assisted by a Planning Support Team that perform standard technical and administrative tasks throughout the Design, Planning and Construction process, also charged at an hourly rate.
Disbursements – Incurred expenses
Direct costs in relation to your project will be charged where applicable. Ordnance Survey Data is almost always required and other disbursements normally but not exclusively, are incurred in relation to client requests. i.e. printing.
Estimates are generated from our client’s requirements in terms of expertise and assessment of the expected time to undertake the project. We endeavour to be accurate with estimates. The exact time required to undertake each task involved in completing your project varies as each client has different requirements that are quantified at key points during the project. i.e. when a planning application is being submitted.
